Sarah
Sarah

Hi my name is Sarah aka Professor Teapotty.

I absolutely love working with children and have huge experience with children.

It has been an amazing time working with Einstein’s Entertainers and seeing how much the children learn, love and enjoy the clubs, parties and events is brilliant.

I think it’s essential for children to get hands on and really involved in something, particularly something as exciting and important as science.

Science is a huge passion of mine and I love passing on my enthusiasm to children in a fun and innovative way.

The best thing about this job is hands on experiments = hands on experience.

"Sciencetastic!"

Lauren
Lauren

Hi everyone, my name’s Lauren aka Professor Curlz.

I love science! I graduated with 2.1 BA (Hons) in Performing Arts and it was during this course that I got the bug for working with children. I have worked with children as a teacher, a special educational needs teaching assistant and as a drama facilitator. I have been working for Einstein's Entertainers now since 2007 doing parties and classes, I love both.

I am very much someone who knows a lot about everything and is a "Jack of all trades" but I am master of some including my grasp and love of science. I am an avid watcher of science documentaries on the television and where possible include new research in my Einstein's lessons. I find science beautiful. I have been very keen that young children don't see science as something boring which was what drew me to working with Einstein's Entertainers. I work hard to show the children the beauty of science and its applicability to everything around us and inside us.

What I most like is to watch children learning and discovering independently through doing experiments, I believe you need to see things in practice in order to understand the theory. I believe the children we teach get so much out of practical science demonstrations and the breadth of the Einstein's lessons really gives children a good and interesting grounding in science for now and in the future, it also leaves them feeling that science is fun. I find it so rewarding to help change children's attitudes to science and see their faces when something they did not expect happens in class!

Hi, my name is Jess aka Professor Wibblysocks, I have a degree in Zoology and love learning all sorts of crazy scientific facts, for example, did you know that snails brains are pink!?

I have experience working with children in both the UK and South Africa and love finding new and exciting ways to teach subjects.

In my spare time I enjoy acting, singing and learning as many different instruments as possible.  I can often be found treading the boards at local amateur theatres.

Hi my name is Meabh aka Professor Bouncy and I’m an actor, facilitator and Einstein’s Entertainer. I am delighted to use my acting experience and training together with my interest in science to facilitate children learning in a very fun way!

I studied acting at The Arts Educational Schools London and I’ve also worked as a primary school teacher and TESOL teacher when I often used drama, storytelling techniques, games and role play to teach many subjects.

I have studied Physics to A-Level and General Science to GCSE level in Ireland.  When I am not an Einstein’s Entertainer or acting, I facilitate learning through play with Debutots Early Years Drama and with Stagecoach Theatre Arts.

Jennifer
Jennifer

Hi all! My name is Jennifer aka Professor Bagpipes and I am proud to be a member of the Einstein’s Entertainers team!

I have been working in children’s entertainment since the age of seventeen and have always got a buzz from interacting with groups of children and making their day special!

I am currently working as a full time teaching assistant in a primary school. The experience has been invaluable, and has reinforced my belief that learning should be fun. What better way for kids to explore the wonders of science, than through exploding rockets and fizzing potions?

I am a graduate with good class honours degree and hope to bring fun and enthusiasm to your school or home!

Emma
Emma

Hello everyone my name is  Emma  aka Professor Weable.

I have lots of experience looking after children and have volunteered in primary schools as a teaching assistant. I love entertaining children and helping them understand the world around them.

There can be nothing more rewarding than watching a child's face light up as they discover something new and exciting.

I also have a passion for science, in particular natural science. It's my aim to pass on this passion and inspire children to understand this  diverse and important subject.

I believe the best way to learn is through hands on experience and with Einstein's Entertainers science, there are plenty of fun and exciting experiments  for the children to get involved in.

Tiff
Tiff

Howdydoody everyone, I'm Tiff aka Proffesor Wigit.

I've been entertaining from a very young age and enjoy every minute of it. I especially enjoy working with children for their reactions, enthusiasm and the fact they are so unpredictable, keeping on your toes.

The fact that we focus on science and it's hands on makes it even more satisfying as i know that not only am i making the kids laugh, but also educating them in a fun, enjoyable way too.

I have often been told I should be a kids entertainer because of my crazy and outgoing personality..... I certainly never expected it to lead to me making slime with children!!

I get to be a kid myself all over again.  Fun Times :)

Sciencetastic!

Simon
Simon

Pay Attention Fellow Scientists, Professor Gustaf Sausage here [AKA Simon] with my data analysis.

Having graduated with a BA [Hons] in English with Multimedia in 2000 I went on to get a Diploma in acting from the Bristol Old Vic theatre school in 2003 and have enjoyed 6 successful years as an actor since.

My main strengths are in comedy and improvisation with a strong physical content and love clowning.

I have great experience working with kids of all ages both taking workshops in schools and in the theatre in pantomime.

I think kids learn best if they’re engaged and making things hands on and fun is a great way to achieve this. It’s great fun sharing the feeling of discovery as they learn and I love the way they completely commit to the worlds you create.

I have always been interested in science, so when I first read about the possibility of doing Einstein’s Entertainers after school clubs and parties I jumped at the chance.

Conclusion

Learning about science + working with kids + doing experiments + having fun = bringing science to life.

Eureka!

Emily
Emily

Hi my name is Emily aka Professor Catseye.

I have experience of working with children in a variety of capacities, and it is work that I find very fulfilling and enjoyable.

I think that it is very important to engage the children, get them involved and interested in what you are teaching them by making it fun. That way we can give them a strong foundation understanding of a very important subject early on, and influence and encourage them to want to learn more.

Through a variety of scientific topics, and lots of fun experiments to join in with, working with Einstein’s Entertainers enables me to achieve this while helping children to recognise the science in their everyday lives.
